Street Food & Restaurants
Do the names of street food such as taco, gyro, burger, dumpling, crepe, soup, sausage, skewer or pizza make your mouth water?
They do for me!
Do you like to enjoy great food but don’t want to pay expensive restaurant prices?
Being on a tight budget myself but still wanting to enjoy incredible food, these were two of the driving forces that led me to seek out street food and budget restaurants. I had to look carefully to find the best places but when I succeeded, it was amazing! Some street food and budget restaurants can provide delicious food and reasonable prices.
Street food is often made fresh, in front of your eyes. It’s usually possible to talk to the chef to ask for recommendations and to make special requests. Sitting elbow to elbow with other diners it’s easy to see the other dishes and the reactions once they take their first bite. It’s also a fun way to meet lots of locals and other travelers.
Budget restaurants are places where a dining experience can be enjoyed without breaking the bank, without compromising flavor and experience.
The challenge is knowing where to go.
I believe it’s possible to enjoy amazing food all over the world at affordable prices. I think the kitchens found on the street, in food trucks and some budget restaurants are some of the best ways to do that.
My goal is to help people regardless of budget, whether they are traveling or local, know where to find the best options in each city.
